It is a huge area of forest, grassland and lagoons bordering the Indian Ocean, in southeast Sri Lanka.
In the Yala National Park Safari tour we drive around the tracks until 12 and resting near the beach. During 12-2 you cannot drive inside the Yala National Park. We prepare packed lunch and breakfast for safaris upon request then you can enjoy lunch in the beach.
Yala National Park is a good place to see Elephants and Leopards in general. But since the variety of vegetation, you get to see several kinds of eagles and little exotic birds as well. For tracking Leopards and other wildlife, you need to have expert trackers, so we provide trackers who can help you in sightings. Mostly the well-experienced drivers from the local community run the safaris. So they know well about the area and park itself. Yala National Park has 5 blocks, we conduct safaris to block 1 and block 5 currently. In block one, it has more than 50 leopards at the moment. So you will have a chance of seeing a leopard during our safari in Yala National Park with Experienced guides and drivers. Upon your request, we can arrange tailor-made safaris to other nearby National Parks like Lunugamwehera and Bundala as well.
